About Me

The Barn, Children's Occupational Therapy (OT) service is an OT clinic based in Balrath, Navan, Co. Meath. It was established by Emir Crowley and Regina Donnelly, Occupational Therapists both with over 18 years of experience in the field of Occupational Therapy. The Barn is a purpose built Paediatric Occupational Therapy clinic fully equipped for sensory integration therapy and resourced with all OT intervention requirements. We cater for the needs of all children ages 0-18, many with varied diagnosis and various occupational therapy needs. We have both worked with the HSE as Senior Occupational Therapists and have over 18 years of experience studying and working in the area of Occupational Therapy for children. We have completed many courses over this time including post graduate sensory integration and sensory attachment training. Our intervention is clinic based and we also provide a family centred service to our clients, working with both home and schools. We provide assessment and intervention for children and adolescents with various diagnosis such as; • Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) • Dyspraxia • Down Syndrome • Attention Disorders (ADD, ADHD) • Autism Spectrum Disorders • Neurological Conditions (Cerebral Palsy, Various Syndromes etc.) • Learning Difficulties We also provide assessment and intervention for children and adolescents who do not have a diagnosis but may be experiencing functional difficulties in their daily life, e.g. dressing, handwriting, coordination, organisational skills, attention and play skills.
