Progressive Elbow / Knee Splint – Large
This splint is designed to comfortably position and support the knee or elbow
The soft splint can be adjusted to progressively increase the range of motion in the joints
It is suitable for individuals with mild to moderate spasticity, following a CVA
Also for contractures resulting from arthritis, dementia, parkinson's disease or osteoporosis/osteoarthritis
Soft foam sherpa splint base decreases the risk of skin breakdown and increases comfort and compliance
Hand wash, air dry
Fits left or right
For size measure circumference of the limb 5cm above the elbow or 10cm above the knee
At least 5cm clearance from axillary or groin area is necessary
Splint construction allows trimming length of approximately 2.5cm
Cuffs of splint must be long enough to support two-thirds of the limb
Proximal cuff length refers to narrowest portion of the cuff, to be located in the axillary or groin region
